Getting Old

My OLD JETTA was a working girl; this car will be, too. Here's my old 4x6 with a load of leaves. The ONLY thing I never really liked about this trailer is the centered axle. It's centered to allow the bed to tilt. It's a cool concept, but makes for a noisy trailer as the load is constantly teetering back and forth. I really didn't use the feature much, anyway. Fast-forward to 2015, the trailer needed bearing work ($40?), tires ($150), new wood and paint to replace the rotting box ($100) and registration renewal ($65 in TX). The registration is a wash. But the other $290 easily went toward a new trailer that better suits my needs/desires. I sold this trailer for $150, just $50 less than I paid in 2001. :-)
